I'm an old guy. I've never experienced customer service so outstanding in my life. Tim Zelenka the owner gives his personal phone number to customers. And, he answers when called or promptly returns a call.
When I was trying to decide if the ARD was right for me, Tim graciously and patiently talked me through everything. As ive gotten older, my vision changed so I could not focus on my pins and target at the same time. My vision issues forced me to use a crossbow in order to hunt during archery season. The ARD solved my problem. With both eyes open, I can clearly see my target and the dot sight.
My bow is an older Hoyt. Tim assisted me over the phone to get the ARD tweaked in just right. I'm going on a Canadian bear hunt in a few weeks and archery deer season will be open at home when I return. For the first time in 6-7 years I can hunt with my compound.
Thanks, Tim
If I could offer one suggestion, it would be to make the elevation adjustment Allen screw out of stronger material. The screw being the only plastic component of the sight, will bow when torquing the locking screw, making fine adjustments more finicky.
The picture is my first 30 yard group after sighting in a twenty yards.
With my aging eyes needing glasses, it was becoming more difficult to focus on the target and pin one would be blurry Insert the ARD, easy to setup, easy to get sighted in. Slowly moving back and getting the different yardages for the different adjustments. Has made shooting fun again.Excellent customer service. Would recommend to anyone glasses or not.
Absolut buff for accuracy. Easy to install, easy to set up. Best usablity! Love it
This sight is very well made and should last through many, many seasons.
The owner of ARD is very accomodating and will take the time to PERSONALLY call you and help you get the exact product(s) you need.
I was hoping this sight would be the peepless solution for my aging eyes. Unfortunately I have astigmatism and a developing cataract and the red dot just starbursts and I cannot get very accurate with it. Even at it's smallest setting the red flare entirely covers my 2.5" bullseye on my target... at twenty yards.
No fault of the sight system.
I can say that if you do not have a serious astigmatism or catracts forming that I would recommend giving this sight a try. A very well made product and an impeccable company reputation.
Now... to sell this one I have. 🥴
As an older archer, I was having trouble using my peep site. The red dot eliminates this and my groups are tighter than they have been in a long time. Because of the speed of the modern bow, my daughter is set and zeroed to 20 but I’m good out to 30 yards without making any adjustments. Great product. Great service great follow up.
